Product Description of Pigment Red 4:
The color is between the yellower C.I. Pigment Orange 5 and the bluer C.I. Pigment Red 3. The light fastness is Grade 6, but it becomes darker after exposure. Mainly used in air-drying printing inks, bleeding in baking enamel; in offset and packaging printing inks, the coloring strength is higher than pigment orange 5 and pigment red 3. It can also be used for shoe polish, floor wax, pastel, watercolor and food Pigment Red 36 (USA). There are as many as 41 commercial brands on the market.
It is mainly used for the coloring of inks, watercolor or oil paints and ink pads. It can also be used for the coloring of rubber, natural lacquer, cosmetic coatings and pigment printing.
